“Rather than write a typical review, I wanted to provide tips to those who are assigned Attorney Wine as their Guardian ad Litem – especially for my sisters out there. 1) If possible, have your attorney present during any in-person or phone conversations with Attorney Wine. Also, avoid accepting direct phone calls from her office as you can always return her call, if necessary. And if you do meet or have a phone call with her, remember that Georgia is a one-party state and you can legally record in-person conversations and phone calls. 2) Try your best to keep your primary method communication with Attorney Wine via email (i.e. keep all of your receipts as well as your invoices!) 3) Don’t feel pressured to meet the sense of urgency demands that she/her firm may present to you – take your time answering her questions and requests, while trusting your own instincts and/or guidance from your attorney. 4) Be prepared for her to engage in distasteful conversations in front of you with the opposing counsel about the money they’re spending on their Louis Vuitton bags, lavish international trips, and Beyoncé concert tickets, while they’re fully aware of your financial hardships and economic access. 5) Also, be prepared for her to pursue her own agenda in your case, regardless of any information and evidence that is presented to her multiple times. 6) Please be sure you read ALL of the reviews listed here and protect yourself accordingly, if you don’t have a choice with your Guardian ad Litem assignment. Peace and grace - my heart goes out to anyone who gets her assigned to your case!”

“My experience with Ashley was one of the most disturbing and disheartening encounters I’ve ever had with a human. She presented herself as someone who advocates for children, but her actions told a very different story. Ashley seemed far more invested in gaining approval and attention from men than in protecting the wellbeing of the children she was assigned to represent. Her disregard for the truth and for the safety of those most vulnerable was both alarming and devastating to witness. It’s clear she is not suited for this line of work and should not be in a position to influence the lives of families in crisis.”

“I highly recommend Ashley Wine and her team at Wine Family Law Firm. From the very beginning, Ashley was thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. She guided me through every step of the process with care and attention, making sure I understood what was happening and felt fully supported.
I’ve heard horror stories about divorce attorneys who don’t fight for their clients, but Ashley exceeded my expectations. She truly had my best interests at heart and made the mediation process much smoother than I anticipated. I’m beyond grateful for her hard work and dedication.
Ashley is not only a talented lawyer but also a kind and wonderful person to work with. I hope I never need her services again lol, but I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a strong advocate on their side!”

“I would hesitate to recommend this firm's services. I have raised concerns with the Georgia Bar Board regarding the responsiveness of Ashley Wine, the Guardian Ad Litem, in addressing important issues promptly. During the trial, she made the decision not to interview my (Defendant) character witnesses based on the assumption that they would provide similar opinions about me being a good father. However, it was noted that she did reach out to all of the "character witnesses" on the Plaintiff's side. Additionally, there have been challenges in receiving timely responses to phone calls and emails, with up to 24 days for email replies. $8500.00 down the drain.....don't waste your time or money. READ the previous reviews regarding this firm before hiring!”
