Out of fear, I didn't go to my last court hearing. They gave me a deportation order, and before that, they brazenly asked me if I wanted to continue with the U visa application, which they never even filed. They kept the 1000. Before hiring these lawyers, take precautions, because I asked them from the beginning if the 9000 was the total amount, and they said yes, but then they said I had to pay another 4000, supposedly with a discount.”
